The Tour Backcountry Ski Race, being held over the 14th and 15th of August, is a epic teams race that will take in the best of what the Craigieburn Range has to offer. It will all come down to avalanche, snow and weather conditions in the days leading up to and the days of the race, but the plan is for teams of 2, racing together, to complete the Craigieburn Ski Area to Porters Ski Area (or vice versa) traverse over the 2 days.
The first day will most likely be from Cheeseman to Porters (or Porters to Cheeseman) and the 2nd day from Craigieburn Valley to Cheeseman.
The pre race meetings and after event function will be held in Castle Hill Village.
